Best Place to Work Award Nomination Process

The closing date for the award submission is 17.00 GMT on Monday 3rd February 2020 and submissions received after this date will not be considered.

The Judging Panel will review all nominations and the Awards shortlist will be issued prior to the Event. All nominations are treated in the strictest confidence.

Please complete the nomination form below, attaching all necessary documents to support your submission.

Hard copy submissions will not be accepted.

Award Criteria

The following criteria must be achieved:

  1. Nominated Company must a Corporate Member of the NFDC and have been a Corporate Member for a minimum of one year at the time of submitting this nomination form.
  2. Nominations may be made by Company Directors or Employees of that Company.
  3. This is a ‘self-nominated’ Award category – you may not nominate another Company.


Demonstrate how your company recognises and rewards high performance of the demolition workforce, describe your company culture and values and how these are lived on a daily basis, explain how your company cares for and supports its people and promotes a healthy work-life balance. Give examples of how your company creates a workplace environment of openness, trust and camaraderie.
Describe your processes for recruitment, including how fairness and equality are assured and how employees receive opportunities to grow and develop their careers. 
For example; employee engagement and satisfaction survey results, anecdotal evidence of employee satisfaction or pride, other Awards and recognition your company has received. You may also supply supporting documents for your entry using the upload facility below.
